bead notes
Ferrite beads provide economical and simple methods for attenuating unwanted signals (noise or oscillations) from a circuit. The use of a bead slipped over a wire creates a RF choke or suppressor is created which has low impedance at low frequencies and high impedance over a high frequency bandwidth. The effectiveness of the bead depends upon the circuit source, suppressor and load impedance magnitudes.
